3 Spots Open for the Next Media Minds Roundtable

Hi!

Applications are officially open for the 2026 Media Minds Roundtable — our first roundtable heading into a second year!

With three open seats, we’re looking for communicators who want to strengthen the relationships that make media relations possible. Our goal is to make it easier for journalists to engage with us in comms/PR and, in turn, support clearer communication of good science.

In year one, the group delivered real value to the broader T2B community. Their work included quarterly press panels where we heard directly from reporters heading into conferences like JPM, HLTH, and ASCO about how to pitch them (and how not to). Roundtable members also developed monthly Biopharma Beats Bulletins, which distilled practical insights about a journalist’s beat, interests, workflows, and pitch preferences. (You can find all those resources in our T2B dashboard.)

Don’t miss our pre-JPM press panel on December 2nd; if you’re not a Pro member but are considering upgrading and/or applying for Media Minds, reply to this email and I’ll comp your ticket.

About the Media Minds Roundtable

Media Minds leads T2B’s media relations programming, drawing on member expertise to support journalist relationships and meet the evolving needs of reporters covering biopharma.

Current Media Minds Roundtable member Betsy Yates will take over from Becky Vonsiatsky as this group’s Chair for Year 2. There are five volunteer members, with three seats open.

Hi! We're seeking eight seasoned comms professionals to volunteer as Cohort Leads for our first 2026 cycle of T2B's Peer-Learning Practicum (PLP). Why our peer-coaching program matters The PLP goes beyond traditional networking. Unlike mentoring programs that struggle with imbalanced ratios and leave mid-level professionals in limbo (too junior to mentor, too senior to be mentored), our peer-coaching model has become a hallmark T2B offering. Why not learn from everyone? Members are...
