Keynote Announced: Thriving in a World of Change With Andrew Blotky

Hi!

Our upcoming virtual Biopharma Comms Forum is centered around the big issues we are facing as communicators – generative AI, boundary management, and sustaining credibility under pressure, to name a few.

And we’re taking these conversations beyond tactics to explore how the way we respond to these challenges can create ripple effects that influence companies, teams, and ultimately how therapies reach patients.

That’s a lot of pressure on communications leaders. So, we’ll be closing the day with a keynote from Andrew Blotky on how to address a challenge we all face but rarely talk about: How to show up fully and avoid burnout in a world that never stops moving.

🗓️ Register here for The Ripple Effect on September 18th.

Closing Keynote: Thriving in a World of Change With Andrew Blotky

After years leading communications at Johnson & Johnson, Andrew now coaches executives on staying clearheaded, resilient, and human during high stakes moments. He’s also a Vinyasa yoga teacher committed to helping people discover, understand, and be the best versions of themselves.

He’ll share simple tools for breathing, self-reflection, and transparent communication—and even guide us through a live breathing exercise—to help us close out the day with clarity and calm. Who better to lead us there?

What else you need to know about the forum

This virtual forum is designed to be a day of two-way conversations with the T2B community. We know you’re juggling competing demands, so we invite you to tune in for the whole day, or to drop in and out to the conversations that interest you most. We’re continuing to add to the agenda – keep an eye on it here.

Either way, we hope you’ll be there at the end of the day when Andrew leads us through a few deep breaths to end the forum and sends us all back to our desks a little lighter.

Hi! Our August Comm Convo was a wide-ranging discussion about how comms teams can effectively operate in the life science ecosystem. Replay available here. Here are our top 10 takeaways for gaining and maintaining influence no matter the type, size, or shape of your organization: 1. Accept trade-offs in structure. Both centralized and decentralized models have strengths and weaknesses—focus on adaptability and network reach, rather than defending one model. 2. Prove advisory value. Instead of...

Hi! Our recent seminar with Fullintel (a T2B Pro Perks partner) dug into a question we’re all facing right now: What happens when algorithms, not editors, determine what audiences see? Although AI may be changing the rules around best practices, it’s also giving us new ways to get our stories out there and make them stick. Here are 10 highlights from our discussion: 1. AI is everywhere in life sciences. Professionals in our field use AI at nearly 4x the rate of other industries (31% vs. 8%),...
