Students & Recent Grads Roundtable Applications Now Open

Hi!

Applications for the T2B Students & Recent Grads Roundtable are now open and will close March 30th.

This group brings together students and recent graduates interested in building careers in biopharma communications. Participants will help shape programming for their peers while building practical skills, expanding their networks, and gaining real exposure to senior leaders across the industry.

We have five seats available for this year's roundtable.

A few things to know:

  • Led by someone who's been there recently. This year's roundtable is chaired by Anna Major, who graduated last spring and now supports campaigns for HIV therapies. She credits connections she made through T2B programming with helping her find direction early in her career, and she's stepping into this chair role to help others do the same.
  • Shaped by a leader who knows what the field is looking for. Executive Sponsor Jenna Tomae (Crossover Search Partners) brings deep experience placing talent across the biopharma ecosystem, and her perspective on what hiring managers actually look for in emerging communicators will shape the roundtable's events and resources.
  • The programming goes beyond students. While the roundtable is open only to current students and recent grads, many of the resources and events it produces will be applicable for the broader T2B community, including managers looking to better recruit and mentor emerging talent, and professionals at any stage navigating a career transition.

Roundtable requirements:

Open to current students and recent graduates interested in life sciences communications, able to commit 3–5 hours per month, and looking to build real industry skills and connections.

Most of our community skews senior, so if this isn't for you right now, think about who in your network it might be for: A student, a recent grad, an early-career colleague figuring out their path. Send this their way!

Lynnea

P.S. - Seats on our roundtables are typically reserved for T2B Pro members. Selected Students & Recent Grads Roundtable participants will receive complimentary membership during their term.

Hi! While our field has its own regulatory, scientific, and stakeholder complexities, many of the judgment calls we face around trust, executive counsel, reputation, and change aren’t unique to biotech. Communicators in other highly scrutinized sectors often navigate similar pressures, often with lessons that translate in useful ways. Tomorrow’s Comm Convo brings together communications leaders who have worked both inside and outside of biopharma. They’ll share how working in other industries...

Hi, and Happy Friday! At our Q1 IR Roundtable event, How ESG Drives Trust Among Investors and Patients Alike, our guest speakers dug into ESG with a biopharma lens, exploring how we can approach ESG in a way that strengthens credibility. ESG is most effective when it helps stakeholders understand how a company manages risk and makes decisions, rather than being positioned as a separate corporate responsibility exercise. If you weren’t able to join us live, T2B Pro and Student members can...

Hi! At our very first Patient Advocacy & Engagement Roundtable discussion, Patient Stories Without a Fixed Address, the conversation with leaders from Astellas, Bayer, and Atrium Therapeutics focused on what patient centricity looks like when it is treated as a strategic business priority. A consistent theme emerged: Organizations that build strong patient relationships tend to do so by embedding patient perspectives early, operationalizing what they hear, and protecting the integrity of the...
