​Moving a communications strategy from concept to execution often hinges on securing buy-in from the right people at the right time. Whether you're working with colleagues who helped shape the plan or navigating skeptical stakeholders, gaining alignment isn’t always straightforward.

For this session, we’ll be joined by marcomms veterans Amanda Galgay, ​Bilal Lakhani, and Will Nolan, who’ll facilitate an exploration of how to identify the voices that carry weight, build support across functions, and maintain control of your strategy as it moves through layers of input, feedback, and approvals.

Applications for our Patient and Advocacy Roundtable close this week!

The five applicants who secure a spot on this new roundtable will focus on helping communicators build authentic connections with patient communities and advocacy organizations, highlighting how meaningful engagement is not only the “right thing to do,” but also a critical driver of business success.

Your knowledge will, of course, help the broader T2B community, but being part of this as an individual will also help you personally:

• Harness your professional experience and passion for patient engagement within the biopharma space by driving the exchange of insights and meaningful storytelling that demonstrates the value of proactive patient partnerships on life science innovation at all stages of development.
• Crystalize patient engagement best practices across the life sciences industry by demonstrating what good looks like through T2B education and programming.
• Advance your role as an SME thought leader as it relates to professional patient engagement and forge meaningful connections within T2B’s community of 1K+ communicators.

📣 Announcing T2B’s new IR Roundtable members

And now for our big announcement!

Investor relations (IR) is one of the many complex disciplines that we, as modern-day biopharma communicators, have to tackle on a daily basis.

Which is why, last month, we opened up applications for our inaugural IR Roundtable.

And today, we’re announcing that those five people are:

• David Connolly, Executive Director, IR and Corporate Communications, Rhythm Pharmaceuticals
• Monique da Silva, SVP, Corporate Affairs, AnaptysBio
• Deborah Elson, Managing Director, Argot Partners
• Elizabeth Higgins, Director, Communications and Investor Relations, Astria Therapeutics
• Jonathan Nugent, EVP, Tiberend Strategic Advisors

Alongside roundtable chair Ami Bavishi, this group will develop programming and resources for the broader T2B community, providing them with the tools to strengthen trust, build credibility, and communicate more effectively with the IR community and others.

Having seen the quality of their applications, we have no doubt that Dave, Monique, Deborah, Liz, and Jon will bring a huge amount of collective knowledge, experience, and insight to the roundtable. Stay tuned for their first set of resources and programming this summer!
