Applications Open: Digital & Social Media Roundtable Year 2

Hi!

Applications are now open for five member spots of our Digital & Social Media Roundtable.

We invite biopharma communicators from in-house, agency, and consulting roles to apply to help advance our collective capabilities in this space, by creating resources and programming to support the T2B community more broadly.

What the Digital & Social Media roundtable focuses on

Christopher Rizzo, Head of Digital and Social Strategy at Syneos Health Communications, will take over as chair for Year 2 of this roundtable. Under his leadership, members will work together to:

  • Explore how to balance creativity and effectiveness with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
  • Share real-world digital and social strategies, successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Examine emerging technologies, platform capabilities, and changing audience behaviors.
  • Discuss how to measure digital and social impact and demonstrate value to leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop practical resources and quarterly programming for the broader T2B community.

Programming and resources developed by the roundtable are free and exclusive to T2B Pro and Student members.

“I’m excited to return for a second year of the Digital & Social Roundtable, a space for leaders to explore how digital can make science more visible, credible, and human. Together, we’ll examine the strategies, technologies, and cultural shifts shaping how healthcare organizations build trust, spark curiosity, and create meaningful connection.” – Christopher Rizzo

Who should apply?

We're looking for T2B Pro members with hands-on experience advancing web, digital, or social media strategies within biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences.

Like all T2B roundtables, this is a true working group, not an advisory board. Members actively contribute their perspectives, collaborate with peers, and help turn ideas into programming and resources that benefit other communicators.

Selected members should expect to volunteer approximately 3-5 hours per month, including regular planning meetings and collaboration on events, resources, and research. resources.

How to apply

Applications are open for all five spots for the roundtable's second year. Members serve a one-calendar-year term (November 2026-October 2027).

At our recent SF Bay Area T2Bmeet, hosted by Exelixis, we explored how the company is realizing these benefits through Exelixis CARES, from making participation easier and empowering employee ambassadors to creating content that...

Hi! In recent years, communicators have invested more heavily in owned channels, social, executive voices, and earned media, while the press release started to feel more like an obligatory staple than a strategic asset. Now, as LLMs and answer-based search increasingly rely on authoritative, on-domain information, the release is having a renaissance. It still needs to work for journalists and to satisfy disclosure requirements, but it also has to be discoverable, structured, credible, and...

Hi! That's a wrap on Day 1 of our Virtual Biopharma Comms Forum, and now looking forward to Day 2 tomorrow! We covered a lot of ground today focused on the theme Owning the Outcome, but across three very different conversations, we looked for the common threads: >> Start with the outcome before choosing the activity. We kept hearing versions of the same question: What are we actually trying to change? That could mean the business problem a comms strategy needs to help solve, the stakeholder...
