Applications Open for Year 2 of the T2B AI Roundtable

Hi!

Applications are now open for three spots on the T2B AI Roundtable as the group enters its second year.

During its inaugural year, the AI Roundtable helped our community stay at the forefront of a technology that is quickly reshaping what it means to be a corporate affairs practitioner. This roundtable led our annual AI in Biopharma Communications Survey, developed practical monthly resources, and shaped some of T2B’s most popular webinars.

In year two, the group will build on that foundation under the leadership of Monica Aguilar (DragonflyAI Consulting). One of her goals this coming year is to help us communicators move from generative AI to agentic AI and adopt the leadership judgment that demands, ultimately reaching beyond our teams to the patients we serve.

What the AI Roundtable will explore

Roundtable members will work together to:

  • Examine how agentic AI could reshape biopharma communications, workflows, and stakeholder engagement
  • Identify the leadership judgment needed to use emerging tools responsibly
  • Share real-world applications, results and lessons across organizations
  • Develop practical resources and programming for the broader T2B community
  • Help lead next year’s AI in Biopharma Communications Survey

Note that programming developed by the AI Roundtable is free and exclusive to all T2B Pro and Student members.

Who should apply?

Applications are open to T2B Pro members with experience or a strong interest in communications and marketing technology. You do not need to consider yourself an AI expert, but applicants should have explored or applied generative or agentic AI in their work and be prepared to contribute their experiences, questions, and perspective.

We are also looking for members who can help translate the group’s ideas into meaningful initiatives within their organizations and across the broader biopharma communications community.

Selected members should expect to contribute approximately 3-5 hours each month, including regular planning meetings and collaboration on events, resources, and research.

How to apply

Applications for the three available spots will be accepted through September 8th:

We're also looking forward to continuing having Syneos Health Communications on board as our Knowledge Partner.

Please reach out to Monica or me if you have any questions about applying. Cheers to year 2!

Hi! In our July Comm Convo -- led by BioPharma Dive reporter Gwen Wu -- our panelists, Chloe Kirk, Ph.D. (BiotechTV), Ben McLeod (Convey Bio + The Biotech Voyager), and Liz Puzio (Simtra BioPharma Solutions), discussed how we can help scientists and executives communicate with more credibility without over-managing what they say. Our top 10 takeaways from Why Only Some Platforms Are Trusted When Everyone Has One: 1. Separate the executive from the corporate microphone. Trust slips for leaders...

Hi! Regardless if patient advocacy is in your or your clients' remit, we communicators still work with patients and patient advocacy organizations all the time -- from storytelling and disease education to advisory boards, clinical trial communications, research initiatives, employee engagement, and beyond. But the role of patient advocacy has evolved, and so should the way we approach those relationships. Tomorrow’s Comm Convo will bring together leaders from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,...

Hi! Although our T2B programming is purposeful and tailored to biopharma communicators, we know it's almost impossible to attend and read everything we put out for the community. Instead, we hope that a subset of what we offer really resonates with you and serves where you're at -- wherever that is. Tomorrow, I'm holding a short, 30-minute info session to walk through the different kinds of membership and how to maximize your experience. T2B Info Session Tuesday, August 25th (tomorrow)12:30-1...
