Hi! Coming out of JPM week, I keep thinking about how valuable it was to see so many of you comparing notes, both in the T2B Commons and at our meetup. Those candid, peer-to-peer conversations are a big part of what make this community work, and they’re exactly what our flagship peer-coaching program was designed to support. With that in mind, enrollment is now open for the next cycle of T2B’s Peer-Learning Practicum (PLP)! The PLP addresses a gap in our field: many communicators reach a point where traditional mentoring no longer fits. Peer coaching fills that space by creating room for honest, thoughtful dialogue among professionals who bring different vantage points — in-house, agency, freelance, job searching, early leadership, seasoned leadership — and want to learn from each other. What the PLP offersThe PLP places T2B Pro members into small, facilitated peer-coaching cohorts that meet monthly. The goal is sustained conversation and relationships that often continue well beyond the program. Participants consistently tell us the same thing: the cohort becomes a trusted space to talk openly about real challenges, decisions, and transitions in biotech communications. Program Details
This cycle’s Cohort LeadsEach cohort is guided by an experienced communications leader who creates an inclusive, responsive environment:
Several of our leads return cycle after cycle, a strong signal that this model offers value at every career stage, including for those facilitating the conversations! And we also have leads from across the US and even Europe and Australia this cycle! How to participate
The PLP works best for people who are willing to show up consistently, engage thoughtfully, and support peers across different roles and career moments. Enroll here by February 2nd — Enrollment is only open twice a year (January and July) for T2B Pro members. If you’ve participated before, you’re welcome to re-enroll and be matched with a new cohort. Looking forward to welcoming the next groups. Lynnea |
Hi! Misinformation has become part of the backdrop of comms work, often surfacing in ways that don’t have a clear owner, a clean definition, or an obvious playbook. This is especially true in our industry, where information moves quickly, context gets lost, and trust is uneven across audiences. Biopharma communicators are navigating fragmented information ecosystems, rising skepticism, and new dynamics driven by social media and AI-accelerated content. The challenge isn’t always about...
Hi! Tomorrow we’ll be hosting the first T2B Comm Convo of 2026, focused on the state of the FDA one year into the current administration. While this topic may seem very specific, our speaker prep call reiterated that what’s happening at the FDA and adjacent government agencies right now, of course, goes well beyond this being a regulatory or government affairs issue... because it's also shaping how our decisions as communicators get framed, how risk is managed, and how we advise leadership....
Hi! A quick note to flag two timely Culture Connect updates: Happening today — Bridging Generational Gaps: Communicating Across Four Generations in Biotech With four(!) generations working side by side, expectations around feedback, leadership, and collaboration don’t always line up. Today’s virtual, interactive session @ noon ET will dig into how those differences show up at work, and what communicators can do to help teams connect more effectively.
