Hi! There’s a whole lot about this profession that we learn by watching, asking questions, making a few mistakes, and gradually figuring out how things really work. That’s what tomorrow’s inaugural Students & Recent Grads Roundtable event is about. Christine Akinc (formerly Alnylam), Samara Dowe (Catalytic), and Rushmie Nofsinger (formerly Cellarity) bring perspectives from different career stages and from both agency and in-house roles. Together with moderators and roundtable members Jasmine Bell and Mimi Le, they’ll dig into questions around building trust, handling feedback and mistakes, encountering different definitions of professionalism, recognizing when you’re ready to stretch into something new, and the importance of adapting as our surrounding environment changes. Navigating the Unwritten Rules of Being a Biopharma Communicator🗓️ Tomorrow, Friday, September 11th As a reminder, Students & Recent Grads Roundtable events are free for all T2B members, including Basic members. (If someone forwarded you this email, you can join T2B for free here.) Hope you’ll join us! Lynnea |

Hi! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been digging into what our inaugural AI in Biopharma Communications Survey tells us about how AI is changing our profession. We’ve seen that adoption is accelerating, and that individual communicators are moving faster than their organizations. This week, we take a look at our next finding: The appetite for AI adoption is there, but support is thin. AI learning is still largely self-directed One of the clearest findings from the survey is the extent to which...
Hi! Many of you know that our community skews senior overall -- about half of our 1,700+ members have ≥15 years of experience as biopharma communicators, and collectively, about 2/3 have ≥10 years of experience. So that's why we always ensure our programming is highly relevant to veteran comms pros. But my goal is for T2B to be accessible to all communicators within the life sciences ecosystem, and to support the talent pipeline... That absolutely includes emerging communicators as well as...
